Grosvenor Pulford Chester Wedding Photographer
If you’re planning your wedding at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa and want relaxed, natural wedding photography, you’re in exactly the right place.
I’m Philip Antrobus, a Cheshire wedding photographer, and I’ve photographed weddings at the Grosvenor Pulford. It’s a fantastic venue with a great mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, perfect for capturing a wedding day naturally without it feeling staged.

A Real Wedding at the Grosvenor Pulford
The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa is a four-star wedding venue located just outside Chester, right on the Cheshire and North Wales border. It combines countryside charm with modern luxury. Weddings at the Grosvenor Pulford always have a really nice flow to them.
I recently photographed Emily and Matthew’s wedding at this stunning venue.
Both bridal and groom prep were photographed at the hotel. One of my favourite parts of the day was Emily’s first look with her dad, the look on his face when he saw her in her wedding dress was priceless.
Once Emily was ready, it was time for the ceremony, but not before I photographed Emily and her bridesmaids in the reception area. This is a lovely area to get some photographs of the bridal party.
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed drinks outdoors while we photographed them enjoying the wedding day. We then did some quiet time photographs of the happy couple in the gardens. This is always one of my favourite parts of the day, as it is also nice for the couple as they can enjoy some time to themselves away from their wedding guests.
It was then time to get some photographs of the Grosvenor Suite before the guests entered for their meal.
After the meal, we went into the Asian Sensory Garden and did a champagne photo, as well as an umbrella photo that Emily and Matthew had requested, before making our way back into the hotel for the nighttime party to begin.

My Approach to Wedding Photography at the Grosvenor Pulford
My approach is simple. I keep things relaxed so you can enjoy your day properly.
Most couples I work with don’t want to spend hours posing for photos. So we keep portraits short and natural, usually around 15 minutes, and the rest of the time I’m capturing real moments as they happen.
Having photographed hundreds of weddings, I know how to work quickly, spot moments before they happen, and keep everything running smoothly.
You’ll get:
A few creative evening shots for something a bit special
Natural, storytelling wedding photography
Two photographers covering your full day
Both sides of morning prep captured
Minimal time away from your guests
